I missed more than once trying to hit the little X button to close a tab in my browser.

Now is not the time to play some Quake. :-)

I hear bad aim is the leading cause of pink eye in couples...

Hehe... in light of that user icon I think you might find this funny. (It's behind a small padlock so you've ended up on my friends list. Let me know if I should bugger off, okay?)

Mice and graphical user interfaces are the result of a decadent age ;-)

And now would be an ideal time for a game of Quake... I might actually be able to survive a few seconds without getting blown to smithereens, hehe...

Not like it's a bad thing, if it's just not your style.

On the other hand, if you'd be a first-person shooter fan and you'd have never played any of the Quake or the original Dooms (1 and 2, the third one is a different beast), that would be evil.

There was a gldoom somewhere, wasn't there? It would probably work with the Heretic WAD!

hmm, I kinda doubt it, iirc Heretic was a rather modified engine, vertical movement and all...or was that only in Hexen, fuck man, it's been like 10+ years, who can remember all that shit :)

Heh, I used to play some quake between some java coding when I worked at this web company. The sad part was that in MP I reached the fraglimit in seconds and in SP I played thought Episode one in about 10 minutes, but it is so relaxing :)

Quake III: Arena here, generally at Hardcore, sometimes at Nightmare. Takes a few minutes to get through a 30 frag game on my favourite map (q3dm17), but I have exacting standards (I didn't really win unless it was by at least double the frags). Or sometimes I'll focus on accuracy or on doing a perfect game (not getting fragged).

Fun. :-)

Aye, I didn't play much single player in Q3, we pulled some all nighters and I realized I still have a copy of the screenshots from the day I got high speed net, hehe, check it out :)

guess I wasn't doing so good on dm17, that's probably because I always hated the railgun, it always felt so cheap, I still love quake1 because of that, the "shaft" and "rl" were just so much better
