Me, in your house, for 24 hours?
Mar. 1st, 2006 04:26 pmYeah, a meme (LiveJournal-specific, even!), but I was finding myself curious. I chopped off the "then repost in your journal" part, as is my habit. Do it if you want to, not because you have to!
If you had me alone...locked up in your house for twenty-four hours and I had to do whatever you wanted me to, what would you do with me? All replies will be permanently screened because it's a secret.
Edit: Apparently I'm a moron, and/or LiveJournal's interface is too complicated for me. Unscreened a few things, hitting the "screen" link as soon as I notice...

I suppose something should be said for my mistrust of authority, as I am breaking most of the "ground rules". If you find this interesting to do, do it.
phrawzty.- I am very careful with my apartment and car keys. If I'm approaching a grate in the pavement while getting to my car or apartment, I will hold my keys carefully while I'm close.
- I crack my joints. Not too uncommon, but I crack some joints that aren't commonly cracked. Like my tailbone.
- I will only rarely tell people that I love them. Not that I don't do it at all, but that I'll only say it when the feeling is overwhelming me. I once apologized for having said it, because I was under the influence at the time and I don't want anyone to think it wasn't meant fully.
- In my car's CD storage space, I always put the CD that is playing left-most, so I can grab it blindly.
- I never answer my home phone. But then, I've never told my number to anyone, and actually, I don't even know it!
- I go by my real name online, with very few exceptions.

Five of my guilty pleasures? I used to guilt a lot about a lot of things, but few of those were pleasurable. I try not to guilt much, and if someone tries to guilt me about something I find gives me pleasure, I will be quick to give them the finger. But there's got to be some things, isn't there?

- Using super-nifty tricks in my code to needlessly improve performance. When was the last time you used sendfile? I wrote my own "faster" version of cat with it!
- Teenage movies. I like Empire Records, all right? Now, shut up.
- Sex. I stumble all the time, I don't really feel like I'm much good at it (I'm certainly adequate, but that's about it), nor am I really fancy at it, but I like it. Lots of people tell me I should feel guilty about it, so I figure it ought to be in that list.
- Driving. Not only am I helping destroy the environment for the children I'm not planning to have, but it sometimes look like I'm trying to take out a few of my contemporaries in the process sometimes (that part isn't really true).
- Those things I do all the time but that azrhey keeps telling me that you can't do. Check it out, I'm doing them! HAHAHA! I suppose I'm supposed to feel guilty about that too, right?
