I wet my bed.
Apr. 18th, 2005 09:48 pmWell, I feel a whole lot better today. This was my first sick day in 7 years, and the previous one wasn't even a real one, I was going to an interview for another job. :-)
This morning, I got up to go to the washroom, and when I came back and lifted the covers, I noticed that my shadow was still in bed. "Hmm, that's odd", I thought. When I lied down, I realized this wasn't my shadow. I felt a lot better, but this apparently came through by sweating the evil out. And boy, did I sweat it. Moved to the other side. The bedroom had a nice, um, manly aroma when I finally got up. Much ventilation was done.
I was pondering raiding the grocery store a bit, but was dissuaded by
thebabynancy, who kindly offered to make a home delivery for me, as she and
hub_ were already going to the grocery store. Thanks! Got me some chicken soup and "French Vanilla" ice cream (which I am enjoying right now, soothing my throat), goodness!
Niftily lent him the car to bring back his groceries, carefully mentioning that he should park it on the side of the street that wasn't forbidden tomorrow, so I can sleep in comfortably, hehe! He brought me back the keys not long ago, and he's claiming the car is in one piece, all good. ;-)
I was pondering going to bed a few minutes ago, while getting the ice cream, and my mind segued into thinking that with my future travel/moving plans, I could now very well justify making my next computer a laptop! Now, I only need a ton of money, and I'm all set! Ahh, wireless Internet in my bed...
