Originally, I wanted something like this and hack it to connect it to my computer, somehow. I don't know what I'll make it do yet, but we always talk of "blowing up code" and "exploding programs" and such, there just has to be something fun to do with it!
The other thing I'm still looking for is an actual bell (as in, not a sound effect, but a real physical bell) that can be triggered by my computer. Preferably, it would have that nice "ding!" that mechanical toaster ovens make when they're done, and I'd have it hooked to ring when compiling my programs would be done: "ding! your program is ready!" :-)
