Spin cycle, 5 minutes
Jan. 26th, 2006 02:14 amDay went by in an instant, or so it seems.
Hacked things with the STL today, in an effort to further my knowledge in that area. Just little throwaway toy programs, but I learned stuff. Like that they have clever memory allocators, but they can confuse valgrind a bit, and that the STL is very dependent on the optimizer doing a good job (so it's not exactly awesome with gcc 2.95 but with 3.x it's quite nice).
Chatted a while with both favourite people. And some very likeable people. I chatted with a nice girl, and she sent me a link to pictures of her in her bathtub. What does that say about me? LOL!
I was wondering whether to walk home, as I was originally planning (I like walking home at night, and it's good exercise), or to metro home instead (which would give me more time to do things). I missed the last metro, so that pretty much settled it.
I should carry my camera instead of my laptop sometimes, and take more photos. I'm slacking off.

Re: Are you telling me that girl in the clouds is 20 years younger than you! You perv!
Date: 2006-01-27 07:02 pm (UTC)I think with you, I'd go for Match Point. It's a more proper date movie than one about terrorists and assasination, isn't it? Hehe! Could grab a bite at Café Pekarna beforehand?
pphaneuf is a cradle-robber, lalala!
