Now, that was a nice evening!
Drove out to the Plateau Mont-Royal with the lady
azrhey, to pick up some super-yummy chicken at Romados (along with the obligatory portuguese lady making jokes about me). Then went over to a nearby computer store to order the PowerBook 12" I've decided upon, but only to see that their computer system for ordering was fubared, quite ironically. I took 10 seconds to lust a bit after the one they had on demo, then ran away to actually eat the chicken.
This chicken is "just takeout", but damn, is it good! And those pasteis (I think? I can barely pronounce it! (edit: got corrected by
azrhey, I almost had it!)), gah, so addictive!
And then, just the good lounging and cuddling with a favourite person, slowly but nicely getting sleepier... Hmm...
While I believe very strongly that I should be able to not having to rely on people, the feeling of someone caring about you is truly great.
And now, the portuguese round bread for breakfast, with Nutella! The awesomeness goes on and on!

My happiness is very much my own responsibility, if I do a poor job at keeping myself happy, I am the one to blame, no one else.
Hence the subtle difference between simply relying on someone, and having to rely on someone. The former is probably what you meant, I think.
