Well,
joenotcharles wasn't lying,
vierge_en_trop's "apple-based baked food" (screw you,
andukar!) is pretty good! It's a kind of bread-type thing with chunks of apples and nuts in it, yummy!
Watched some the first DVD of Firefly with a few coworkers tonight, then sat down in front of a bug, which was very interesting. I only got it entirely figured out around 3am, and it was rather simple, but required sitting down and thinking about it for an hour or two, turning the problem around in my head. It was fun, I enjoyed it very much, even though it puts me rather late now.
I biked home via Maisonneuve and Atwater, since it was after sundown (no kidding!). I had almost forgotten how nice it was biking through downtown in the middle of the night, so few cars and people, just lights and lots of pavement stretching out in front of my wheels. It was a bit cool, but quite bearable. I used one of these smalls red blinky light in the back of my bike for the first time ever, after having had it for many years (came for free with dog medications?!?). It was also it's last time ever, as a bump on Atwater crossing St-Antoine at a stupidly high speed sent it flying and breaking in pieces on the pavement.
There's a comment that I found interesting, heard a little while ago, that keeps popping back into my mind, for some reason. I was saying how maybe I should go ahead and "hit on" some person, and it was pointed out to me that I couldn't do that, since you "hit on" someone to make them like you, but it's not necessary when someone already likes you. Maybe it just escapes my mind a bit that some people like me, even though really, I do see it happening. Stupid psyche, don't be broken! :-)
I think I'm going to be Grumpying tomorrow, haven't seen some of these people in a good while, so I'll have to remedy that.
