Ended up doing much less than I expected today, but I smiled a lot and was happy. Some brush-up tapped a bit in my reserve of happiness, but there was so much in there, shrugged it off and kept going.

These guys are about to drive me nuts, with the shipping of the CD and DVD pushed back to the 20th. I'll probably lock myself in my apartment and listen to it in a loop for a few days when I get this.

Finally finished editing the set of photos I took last June 30th at the Dancing Cock Brothers show for weaselnation and friends. Sorry guys, it's been a tough month, and I'm also not so happy with the quality. There was just enough light, the lighting was very close to the stage, and I didn't have a wide enough lens for the small venue. But there are some fun shots of the act, like this one:

That weekend is actually the 20th and the 21th. We have a company beach outing the 20th, but the 21th might be cool!

See how much of a prude I actually am? Yellow damned tighties! You'd think that would be illegal, even with pants over them.

Yanno, having to Filter one's Friends' Page, or use Image Place Holders for everyone... is about the only course of action one has in terms of keeping themselves out of hot water with their bosses with you on their Friends' List then.

While I have the luxury (?) of working in an environment not heavily scrutinized. Many do not.


Then it just boils down to a question of respect...

Even if there is a certain amount of pride in liberating those cube farm dwelling individuals...

I suspect that if you work in a place where such an image could get you into trouble, reading random web sites such as your LJ friends page while on the job might also be enough to get you in trouble. And as you've mentioned, there are options such as image placeholders, in case you want to be daring and challenge the authorities while minimizing risks.

If someone blames me for losing their job because they were viewing my LJ on work hours, I reserve the right to think they're idiots.

In the end, it's my LJ, I put what I want here, reading it might cause cancer, etc, etc, etc... :-)
