Work day of death, but good
Jul. 5th, 2005 01:51 amArrived at the office just before 10am, left just before midnight. After sleeping four hours. Ow. But I got things going, finished that damned merge and I even saw the software release I am leading pass the automated testing for the first time ever. Bugs were resolved, others were filed, arses were kicked (including mine), it's all good.
Going for lunch today, I noticed a travel-oriented bookstore. It was closed when I went in front, but I shall stop tomorrow and see if they have books for people wanting to leave the country permanently, like me.
Ate a nice supper at home. Didn't take it to the computer or anything, I just saw, and just ate supper, at the kitchen table. You'd think I was normal, except of course, it was at 1am.
Will be going to the jazz festival tomorrow, with some crew. That'll be nice, it's been years I haven't been!
Now I'm late for my bedtime again. I'm enticed to say something about spoons, but I'll do it in my own way instead: faites de beaux rĂªves...
