Foufs adventures and poor dialogue

Friday, there was hitting of the Foufs, which was much fun. There was dancing, there was (some) drinking, more dancing, and a pretty weird movie (apparently called Logan's Run) on the televisions around the club. The evening was a bit shadowed by finding my car broken into as we were heading back home. Nothing too serious, just the small triangular window in the back broken, a dozen CDs and my sunglasses gone. That's how it is sometimes.

Due to various circumstances, ended up canceling the biking (with the smog, it wouldn't have been much fun, I'm afraid). Did go and see Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, with azrhey, mcote and messiahdivine. "I love you!" — "No, I love you!"

Walked home from the theater in the beautiful weather, with great company. Could do away with the smog, and maybe a bit less humidity, but it's lovely, with a nice gentle breeze...

I was her lift to/from downtown that night. My car, she was into. She did not cut her ass on the broken glass, thankfully!

ryss_rhiannon lives rather far away and azrhey hasn't fully recovered her ankle yet. I didn't mind not drinking much, as I was intending on mostly dancing and talking anyway. I've had cars in Montreal for the last 6 years and it's the first time that happens, it's no big deal.

I'm mostly annoyed at the small number of car window repair shops (that deal with the insurance company) downtown, and I have to go pretty far.

I think he's saying she actually is ugly, and he only thinks she's beautiful because he's in love. Kind of a backhanded compliment.

It's very disappointing, because I can sort of see what Lucas is trying to convey, but he can't write it down in a sensible way to save his life...

I thought the borg only assimilated species whose individuality and technology could bring some enhancement to their own.

Gotta admit the first time I read your comment I did not think of Bill Gates but of Gates McFadden. She was scary enough without being borg'ified.
