Number of people killed: zero
May. 27th, 2005 07:40 pmFinally got some pants. I saw bright yellow pants. For men. I saw a guy pondering them, as in "hmm, would they go with my bright red shirt?" rather than "oh, there is no god!". I saw some interesting pants... And they were $200. Um, no.
As I was about to lose it, grab a blunt object and start whacking at people, I decided on two things. First, I'd get two more holes in my belt (finally!), so that my current pants would at least hold on better. Second, I'd go to Levi's and get me a pair of 501s that are as black as my soul (as opposed to my one remaining intact pair of 501s that are only as black as
ayria's soul). They can't possibly have screwed up 501s, I figured.
Well, only did they not screw up 501s, but Levi's had a pair of non-jeans pants that look decent (other than they made then in a few less than savoury colours). I grabbed two of the decently coloured ones, their LAST pair of reinforced socks and headed back to the office. I wasn't too impressed at their quality control, though, as there were many pairs of alledgedly identical sizes that were clearly different, had to try a bunch in what seemed to be completely random picking of sizes.
