Saw the Hitchhiker's Guide movie yesterday. Was all right. Some people, like, um, say
musicdieu, were rather indignated about it, but to these people, I say "get a fucking grip, it's just a book and a movie".
I'm finding myself wishing for some time with one of my favourite persons, but as usual, time is being my nemesis, and I don't see it happening until next weekend. In fact, it's not looking up to see much of any of my favourite persons for the coming week. But I still manage to do it anyway, so *pfft*!

Date: 2005-05-17 12:53 pm (UTC)Add to that the fact that Douglas Adams said that every incarnation of the Hitchhiker's Guide he considered valid and good and that for every variance from one to the other, he said they were all "canon" and just happen to be an alternate reality from each other. ( Including the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Towel ). So anyone who wants to argue that "It wasn't like the book" hasn't understood Douglas Adams' point of view.
