pphaneuf | Adventure in Toronto

Got up at 6am wednesday, to have the car maintenance done, tires changed and stuff. Did some work. Then

wlach and I headed out for Toronto, where we met

kinetik710 and her friend Mike. Some fine chinese food was had (on top of the Arby's that I just had to have in Kingston!), then headed to the Opera House for Autechre.

The show was very good, but I have to say this was the weirdest audience ever. I think they were all dead, or something. The place was full, and there was about 10 people total dancing, including our group (although it was mostly

musicdieu,

kinetik710 and I,

wlach and Mike seeming a bit shy). Some weird guy even came to talk to us about how we were the only ones dancing (which was true at the time he did)! So yeah, I enjoyed the music, dancing and

kinetik710's dancing. :-)

Had a bit of an adventure on the way to Waterloo, getting pulled over right in the exit we were going to take. Oh well, that happens sometimes, I guess. After a short night on

musicdieu's couches, we headed out for some vietnamese food breakfast, then a lightning fast tour of the University of Waterloo for

wlach's (dubious!) benefit. Saw

jbdeboer there, AKA "Fluffy"! Then we headed back to Montréal (with another stop at Arby's, 'cause that's what I do!).

Got to spend the rest of the evening with one of my favourite persons, watched Blade Runner. Simple, but so enjoyable. Freezing of body parts was prevented, burned some rubber to get my arse to my place, then crashed with Diva by my side. *purrs*
