Where has all the Guinness gone?
Mar. 6th, 2005 10:57 pmA nice day at home. A big of groceries, unpacking dishes, cleaning them, putting them away, doing laundry, all of which interspersed with chatting up various interesting people online. Started pondering a little weekend trip in a couple of week, would be nice.
I have been drinking so much coffee recently. I didn't even own instant coffee or a coffee machine, and so I drank only one coffee a day, at most, not even every day. Now, I have both instant coffee and a coffee machine on my table, and this weekend, I have been pushing caffeine away. Now I'm sleepy as hell, thinking only about espressos, mochaccinos, cappucinos, portuguese coffee, dishwater american-style coffee and Pepsi. I wasn't going to have orange juice either, as I deemed it was too late to hop myself up on sugar, I want to sleep solidly tonight. So what did I drink to chase the call of caffeine? My emergency bottled Guinness, that's what!
There's still plenty to do, but there's progress, and that's good. There's nothing left in boxes, whatever is left is all on my kitchen table. Granted, it's almost full, but that's it. All you see is all there is left! Well, then there's my study. Oops.
Also, I find it very odd that while I have more asian eating implements that
ayria had when she was in Montreal, I have exactly one teaspoon. One. Weird.
Oh, and I dropped a chopstick down my kitchen sink drain. Re-oops. I doesn't cause any issue right now, but it might make it that much easier to clog, obviously. I've somewhat diagnosed what makes rusty water come out in my bathtub too, so I think I'll have to have a plumber come and fix all that.
I'll go dump myself to bed now. Yes, that's before midnight. No, there's no girl in that bed right now, you perverts!
