Horizontal, it's not just an orientation, it's a way of life!

Weekend is over already, and I'm in fact, well into my monday...

Viciously fun partying happening at hub_'s and thebabynancy's. Just was adequately hosed that I was easy to make fun of, but didn't cause any major mess (some people kept stealing my wine goblet, ahem!). Was not hungover, but I was weirdly off balance for a good part of the day (my "morning"), even worse then when I went to bed, odd. Fixed itself eventually.

Basically spent the weekend horizontal. Didn't do much, just was the laziest ass possible, scratching the said ass when necessary. And yes, that much is necessary. Actually did do a surprising amount of stuff despite all the proper horizontality, watching three movies (L'Auberge espagnole, which is excellent, Office Space, with one of my favorite dream sequence, and The Hunt for Red October), a good old cold war submarine movie), and even had some Frite Alors and proper coffee on the Plateau. It'd be cool to hang out on the Plateau some more, that's for sure!

In fact, I was so lazy, that while listening to my library on shuffle, I wondered what was playing, went to the computer to check, then made a quick Perl script to use text-to-speech synthesis to say it (rather poorly, usually!) and hook it up to a button on my remote. This was, the next time this happens, I can stay in bed! Then I managed to drop the remote between the bed headboard and the wall. Well done.

Now, horizontality will strike again.
