A very quick update, as I have to drop dead.

Played a board game called Mare Nostrum with [livejournal.com profile] bohemianpsyche, [livejournal.com profile] hub_, Brain and Christian (AKA Kriss). It was very fun, although I had the hammer to nail down [livejournal.com profile] hub_ and failed to use it, leading to his eventual victory. This lead to [livejournal.com profile] bohemianpsyche and Kriss teaming up to beat me up. They almost succeeded, but, as always, I survive to tell the tale. ;-)

Despite some misunderstanding, we (minus Brain, who had to leave) joined up with [livejournal.com profile] freaky_kiki at Mondo Fritz, a belgian fries place on St-Laurent, for [livejournal.com profile] hub_'s introduction to poutine. Had some awesome poutine with portuguese sausage (with some faint hope of it being as good as the one [livejournal.com profile] azrhey brought to the NYE party, which it wasn't, but was very good still). That was the "easy" one. We'll be having La Belle Province next or something, for the "slams down into your stomach" hardcode poutine, hehe!

Due to some cider incident, [livejournal.com profile] bohemianpsyche and [livejournal.com profile] hub_ left us, as well as Kriss, who had some friend to attend to, leaving me with [livejournal.com profile] freaky_kiki. I was pretty boring, unfortunately, as I was trying to stop thinking about stuff, with not much success. I shouldn't think so much.

You are such a negative person. The way I see this, you should be flattered! Normally, I would have gone with some other choice, because there were some other sausage options that were pretty attractive, but after my sausage encounter of NYE, when I saw the word "portuguese" in the list, it clicked in my brain, and I knew I'd *have* to try it, just in case. :-)

I was thinking, being on St-Laurent near Duluth, I had half a chance of having decent portuguese sausage, wouldn't you think?

Don't. He will get it in his head that he is cultured... or something.

Pfft. I'm sitting in front of my computer in my underwear drinking orange juice from the jug. I don't think a walk through the portuguese district would be enough to make me I'm even remotely cultured!

And I am sitting in front of my computer 100% naked driking hot chocolat from a china mug. I guess that makes ME cultured ?

Well, I can only imagine, but that seems very cultured to me.
