denizsarikaya left the office at 7:57pm, with actual full minutes to spare! Keep it up, Denzo, one day, you might even have free time... ;-)
Got a surprise call from someone I like getting calls from. Wasn't all good news, but it was sweet to hear the sound of her voice, I only wish it would be in a better occasion. Got cut off in a funny way, I think her cellphone died some unexpected death? Oh well...
Slowly started the slightly more managerial-type pusher job at work. I'm still at the stage where I can entertain a delusion that it'll go fine. Yeah, right. :-)
On the other hand, the vice-president of R&D is trying to clamp down the (much appreciated) flex hours. Some coworkers I was hanging out with when I learned of this turned to me and expressed their expectations of snide comments in email from me (a little while ago, there was a mandatory staff meeting at 11am, I replied "Good luck" by email, and came to work in my PJ). I shall not disappoint them, but not tonight, I'm too tired. I need to be well rested to be properly snideful, hehe!
Went to some dubious dive in the portuguese area of St-Laurent tonight, the "St-Laurent Frappé", where foosball and cheap bad beer were made abundant, with (among others)freaky_kiki, cpirate, wlach, a certain pair of the classiest Nitiots and a bunch of hapless coops.
As per my (barely) drunken promise, I did do that merge of WvStreams, a few minutes ago. I'm very tired, but I just couldn't bear not keeping my word. Fear me!
Tomorrow, the plan is to introduce thecrazyfrench to poutine.
