Did you know that Standard Bagel Rules here in France would be considered by most people a considerable lack of savoir vivre and offend them? It makes taking croissants (because, well, we make do with what we have!) on the way to the office an expensive proposition where you have to buy enough for everyone, lest someone is offended.
So I decided to avoid the issue by never bringing croissants.
