Broke up with
tygrbabe last Tuesday night. Took me a good while to convince myself to push that little green button. It's one of those things where I've been hurting, both myself and others, for a while. I think it was time to stop being my overly optimistic self and deliver a sharper pain, but hopefully one that'll come to pass and heal.
It's odd, because of my definition of "being together" (which is when two people have agreements together) makes "not being together" not that bad of a thing (there's a number of people I do not have agreements with, but I am very fond of nonetheless, and would do a great many things for), but I don't know, it would seems that, once more, what little agreements were in place, I valued.

Date: 2006-08-17 01:46 pm (UTC)You might be right with this, friendship is a kind of agreement. I suppose it further frustrates my attempts at defining things and clarifying things, as well as support my idea that it's all a continuum, really, rather than "notches". But I did call her, and something did happen, if it didn't matter, I (and her!) wouldn't be so affected, wouldn't I?
