Yesterday, a bunch of people dropped by on IM while I was at work. Thanks, it's nice to know you're not forgotten while you're away! :-)

Also, I'm still reading and mostly keeping up with LJ, if I don't comment much, it's because I do my LJ reading in the train (thanks to NetNewsWire, so damned good!), so without Internet access I can't comment much, there's no network for my laptop at work, and it's still pretty intense.

Fuck, I missed the 8:38 train this morning by less than a minute, so I had to take the next one, which is at 8:50, which isn't so bad, but stops at the main Colomiers train station, which is on the east side of town. My workplace is at the next stop (which they won't go to) on the west side of town. Still on the train now (thanks to Xjournal, so damned good!), I'll have to figure out something upon arriving... Turns out there's a "bus" that went near my workplace about 10 minutes after my train arrived. It's such a little-used bus line, though, that it's not really a bus, but actually a minivan-type of car! And I was the only one on there, hehe!

Today, I was listening to Jean Leloup and the Arcade Fire, felt kind of silly and pathetic, listening to music "from back home". Next on was Interpol and Einstürzende Neubauten, I should be all right.

Bank and real estate agents are both proving to be pains in the arse. The bank has silly business hours (but let's not kid each others, that's normal fare for banks in Canada as well), and the real estate company isn't as bad, the agents responsible for our things won't be there tonight. We'll be taking it easy tonight and tomorrow shall be one big goose chase of bank, cellphones and real estate agents. If you hear of a Canadian going insane and going on a killing spree in Toulouse, it'll probably be me.

All sorts of important decisions ahead of me, regarding apartments, and more importantly, my relationship with [livejournal.com profile] azrhey. I hate having to find that line between compromising and my integrity, and finding on which side of that line I are.

I've been pretty terrible at many things, these days, catching myself talk in the "you" form (instead of the "I" form), taking decisions on my own, without consulting those involved, and generally being abusively selfish. Being selfish is quite okay, I stand by that, but being an arse is being an arse is being an arse.

Music from home (particularly Jean Leloup, maybe because his sound and lyrics are so distinctive) is a good thing. But then again, it might be because I moved to the land of country music and tired bubblegum pop.

I hope you and [livejournal.com profile] azrhey are doing well... It's warm and sunny here and I'm thinking of how much she would enjoy it. :)
