Some summarizing?
Mar. 12th, 2006 09:52 pmOn the Friday, there was some quite welcome cuddling up with the lady
azrhey, after discussing some details of moving to Europe. I like cuddling up with the lady
azrhey, it is very nice. It's the cold toe inserted in my buttcrack that isn't so nice! LOL!
Saturday, we headed over to
swestrup and
taxlady's place to play some more Xxxenophile and eat. I didn't have the same luck as the last time, though, despite following more or less the same strategy.
After going back to my place, we watched The Constant Gardener, which was quite good, I found.
Today, I decided to assault my music library, one of the most daunting parts of getting things synced up between my laptop and my workstation. The workstation will remain here, you see, and I have to have these two guys agreeing on what's what, so I can have decent backups when I'm on the go. Decided to go and hang out at Café Blue Monday, where the wireless is free, the brownies delicious and the tea plentiful. Ran into all sorts of people during the afternoon. Unsurprisingly,
tygrbabe (although almost every time I go there, Pete is there by himself, so it's not that common), but I also caught a glimpse of
jaramin through the window at some point, who then later came by for some food, and
obskura dropped by for a brownie and tea as well (see, it's not just me!). I scored myself tasty free potatoes, which I then ate some of with chicken, to keep the universe in balance! Hehe.
Now I'm attempting the actual syncing of my music library. iTunes is being an arse (as usual), making such things as listening to
vierge_en_trop's 2005 virtual mixtape annoying. Why, oh why does it insist on importing these things in my library? It's not my music, I'll be deleting it when I'm done listening! Gah. Thankfully, though, they did improve the Quicktime handling code in iTunes, it goes much faster now (maybe it doesn't open each file three times anymore? Gah!).
