Almost 40 centimeters of snow now. CBC seems to say that it might be a record-breaking snowfall for Montreal, in fact.

In other news, this optical illusion is pretty cool.

WTF? "The last time [Ottawa] had over 25 centimetres of snow in one day was back in 1993." Those pansies, I thought they had real winters up there! Where I'm from, anything less than 25cm is called a flurry.

Take a look at the map. It isn't "up there" compared to Newfoundland.

Well, it's no further south than here, certainly. It's just that Ottawa has this reputation as being really snowy, which (for me, at least) has just been shattered.

I guess constant small amounts of snow isn't much to sneeze at either.
