Queueing theory

pphaneufWent to the passport office today, where I did some waiting, standing in line, then some more waiting, this time with a number (but still standing), then an elevator (yes, I was standing in line for the elevator!), then a lot more waiting, with another number (but sitting, thankfully). But apparently, everything is in order and my passport should be mailed to me on the 28th (should get it early in January).

gorbash_dragon. Isn't weird how culture can leave us so far apart, even though we seem so close in apparence?
Was a good day at work, despite my late arrival. Doing some fun design work, I like it!
Discussed software design at length withwlach. Very interesting, getting a different perspective on things, how he sees things often enlightens me and leads me forward. Walked home from the office with him. I was cold, -20° Celcius, but I had my hat on, thankfully.
