Friday, good eating at Alpenhaus, for a birthday dinner. Looked really hard, and couldn't find any rüsti on the menu. No matter, like last time, we had good food, as well as good wine. Saturday,

azrhey and I hit up the Holidays party on my mom's side. What? Holidays already? Well, a lot of them are southbound during the actual Holidays, so they're doing the celebrating in advance. The karaoke singer/DJ/MC only very narrowly escaped death at our hands.

Sunday, watched some more Stargate SG-1, got stuffed with good food by

azrhey's parents (who seems bent on making me a fat man!), then went to a classical vocal concert at the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall of Concordia's Loyola campus.

rottenfruit was involved (and sang well!), so I (unsurprisingly) found

metawidget and

dzuunmod in the audience. While these are students, and even to my untrained ears there were some mistakes to be found occasionally (or just things not really to my taste), some of the singers were quite good. There's a chamber ensemble concert next Sunday (the 4th of December) as well, and it seems rather interesting. For $5, or free for students (I presume "students of Concordia", but maybe any students? (addendum:

dzuunmod seems to indicate it's for any students!)), you can't really go wrong!

I managed to pull myself out of bed in time for my car maintenance appointment, even though some bad habits reinforced during my week off left me with little sleeping time. Silly me!

Something seems to be finally happening in Questionable Content! My goodness!
