Back in black
Nov. 5th, 2005 08:02 pmI got myself boots again today. And the world is a better place. :-)
They're not new, as I had hoped, though, as it would seem military spec combat boots are rather hard to come by new (parade boots are easier to find it seems, but I prefer combat). But they are just about new, so that will do just fine. Put on some black polish on them, and they look smashing!
I'll go off and try them out better now...

Date: 2005-11-06 08:10 am (UTC)Parade boots were real easy to get, used as well as new, but combat boots (my personal preference), I could only find "barely used". Parade boots might look better, but it's the combat boots that were designed for people to walk dozens of miles a day in!
Here you go!

Date: 2007-01-06 12:16 pm (UTC)Around Montreal and Toronto, any army surplus stores will have used ones, and possibly new ones. There are stores that sell similar styles of boots that might actually be more modern and wearable, but I'm not too aware of them...
