I know the best people ever!

Yesterday, just wanted to be with one of my favourite people, and did. Had the most interesting discussion, leading me to believe my previous life must have sucked monkey nuts for me to get such good karma in this one.

Now, I'm all giddy and expectant of the other favourite person coming down to visit this weekend! She's trying very hard, I have to admit, having all sorts of transportation issues... But she'll arrive safe, I'm sure. Otherwise is just not allowed. I was asked upon leaving the office whether I was heading out to Waterloo to visit her, and responded that no, she was coming after all, and I felt my face "illuminate" of sorts. Now, I'm a rather transparent person, when I can feel it like that, it probably means that you could have generated solar power out of my glow! Hehehe!

Walked around shopping for a few items today. I got only one of the two I expected to get, a DVD of Love Actually (to torture blacksquiggles with!). I also got a single-box package of Ghostbusters I and II, High Fidelity, Jean Leloup's "Exit" double album and DVD set and re-bought Einstürzende Neubauten's "Strategies Against Architecture III" (my favourite!) that got stolen when my car got broken into. They were all rather relatively cheap. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it. :-)

I may have to borrow "High Fidelity" from you sometime, I've never seen it and I'm told it's excellent.

It's been a while, I have a hard time remembering the details, but I saw John Cusack and thought "he's awesome, and all I remember from this movie is it being awesome too". So I got it (was something like $13). :-)

I'll bring it over after I've watched it again!

You know, I really enjoyed Ghostbusters II. I think people were too hard on it as a sequel.

Was all right, as I remember it. Wasn't as snappy as the first one, but I liked it. So a combo was most excellent, and it was just 18$!
