Yesterday, after Grumpying with [livejournal.com profile] dcoombs, [livejournal.com profile] sfllaw and two visitors from the UK (Alasdair Kergon and Jon Masters, on their way back from the OLS), I went to [livejournal.com profile] sfllaw's place to crash, as I was having a very interesting discussion with him about free/open source software business models. Timin kept me good company, after he drew a drop of blood from me. A cheerful, playful little killing machine, he is!

This morning, there was a ringing. Umph. More ringing. Bleh. After a rather long bout of ringing, I open an eye, and figure I'll go visit the bathroom, being morning and all. Some more, long ringing. Hey, that was the doorbell! And where is [livejournal.com profile] sfllaw? Uh oh... I went down the stairs, to find him stranded in the doorway, in his PJ and slippers. Oops!

Turns out he had been out there for a whole hour, ringing the doorbell once in a while. He apologized for waking me up, only to have me point out that he did not wake me up, rather unfortunately for him! He then cooked me a breakfast of pierogies and prosciutto. It was pointed out later to me that this is hardly a breakfast, but my opinion is that is was both good and broke my fasting. We then walked in the rain together to the office, rather pleasant (I like rain!).

Had some coffee with lady [livejournal.com profile] azrhey, to be told tales of astounding cluelessness and stupidity.

Went to visit the lovely [livejournal.com profile] ryss_rhiannon and have an appropriately lovely evening made of [livejournal.com profile] sweet_necks, garlicky pasta and Cabernet-Sauvignon.

I was able to watch the Einstürzende Neubauten trailer for their DVD (high and low bandwidth). I very nearly wet my pants. I would have liked so much to have seen that show, and now, I'm so eager to receive my DVD!

Tomorrow, no rain, meaning biking to work, meaning that I'll be in a good mood. :-)
