Ikea adventures and big-time tidying

cpirate and I went to Ikea yesterday, driving what seems to be an infinite amount of time, getting stuck in traffic both going there (what? at around 1pm?) and back (early rush hour, it seems). Got a nice Norden dinner table, an extra Ivar shelf.

Watched Taxi 3 with azrhey, which was pretty entertaining, but I think I liked the first two movies better.

Then, today, she gave me both a massive kick in the arse, as well as a massive amount of help to set my apartment straight once and for all. On one hand, I feel a bit like I lost the war against my apartment, having to resort to someone else like that, but on the other, this is completely overshadowed by the satisfaction I had of looking around and seeing (okay, almost!) everything looking nice. Had dinner on the new table, which had previously been assembled by a scantily clad girl, of course (it's the only way to have furnitures assembled, I tell you!). Thanks a lot, azrhey!

There's the smell of some kind of party happening at my place soon. Huzzah!

I'm at the office for a bit now, due to some cellphone-induced confusion, but I plan to figure something out, go out, have fun and walk home. Yeah, that's about as much planning as I'll get going, I think. :-)

Well, didn't actually do work, I just catched up with LJ, wrote that entry, etc... I knew before leaving that CVS was going to be read-only, but thanks for the SMS anyway! I just improvised an evening of drinking, hot redheads and good memories... :-)
