Another madman lost to Google

I learned today that mag applied at NITI, and was turned down, for budgetary reasons. I accept the reasoning, but I feel pissed nonetheless. I loved working with that guy. There was already losing slajoie, which wasn't so great either. Bleh.

On the other hand, I'm discovering that the R&D aspects of our latest corporate strategy is playing out rather well for my personal goals of crafting code that I can be proud of. It won't be all easy, but I think I can pull it off!

Now, I'm having Cabernet Sauvignon and The Decemberists, stuffing around my place, tidying up and doing laundry.
