I miss you!

Still dealing with the stupid bug that won't die at work, I'm getting a bit tired of it. Can't I get some other boring bug instead? I think I managed to deal with it today, overnight automated testing should tell me about it...

I'm worrying a bit about someone I care deeply for, who's sick and so far away. I wish I could do something, beside strongly suggesting to go visit the doctor, take care of her myself, but that's not possible. Grumble. At least, she's not so stubborn about not going to the doctor, like some other were...

Myself, I'm getting better. I feel a bit icky in the morning, then it settles down as I actually become awake, and off I go for a nice day.

While it's not disabling, I have this lingering loneliness that is slightly annoying... azrhey still has a few more days before she returns, ayria and musicdieu still have a solid month before they come back. Tried to visit Rémi and Corinne on my way back from Québec, but he wasn't home. And never mind the über-evil andukar and mag! Haven't seen much of chickcurious and blacksquiggles either, and I'm still left wondering what kyotto's new haircut looks like. I still have some of freaky_kiki's stuff on my desk at work, as a testament of how rarely we seem to see each others. I haven't seen either Stéphanes in forever! The return of the biking season makes me wonder what cberner is up to... I freakin' work with jimmysworld, yet I see more of him through his LJ, and that's not quite much. wlach, I might see more regularly, but still, I feel a great affinity with him that goes rather undeveloped, maybe I should go to his place have some ridiculously large amount of whiskey with him.

I know, I've got other friends here that I see more, but remember people, this works both ways: none of you are interchangeable/replaceable. Spending time with one doesn't make up for another of you! More accurately, it's not "loneliness", it's more "missing peopleness".
