I woke up by myself this (well, okay, last) morning. Just opened my eyes, sat on the bed, was awake.
Now, this can mean one of two things:
Avery nearly completely killed my hope for the computer industry in general while showing me some Java stuff IBM is asking us to check out. IBM seems to be called by companies with a request that I can only imagine as "please come and fuck up any possible hope of our business ever making sense", and they make billions of dollars (carefully collected by
freaky_kiki and
kyotto) out of this. Okay, so worse is better, maybe, but apparently, IBM is going to the logical conclusion that worst must be best.
I mean, I'm quite cynical already, let's not make it worse, all right? And people wonder why I have a hard time getting up in the morning, or why I complain all the time about everything sucking...
What gets me up in the morning is when I can finally form in my mind the proper delusional state that I can do something about it without necessarily resorting to automatic weapons.
